Just Pass Me By

This morning I got ready for work and was ready to walk out the door. I try to be to work by 650-7am, I ended up being late, because I could not find my keys anywhere. I looked on top of the filing cabinet, inside the filing cabinet doors, in my favorite chair cushion, in my office, in my bathroom and in the bedroom. I could not find the keys.

I finally decided I would just leave for work, I would just end up leaving the sliding door open we live in a safe neighbor hood and my neighbors watch out for each other.. I looked in the kitchen one last time before I lift. I went to work, I do not attach my house key and car keys. I have a key holder up, I usually put the keys up there. On Saturday we went shopping for some items for our Hanukkah party. We first brought up all of our groceries and later I went to go and get the mail.

It was all junk mail, so I came back intending on throwing it away. Today at work I was trying to retrace my steps in my mind and Praying that I would remember where to look. I started wondering if I might have done a stupid thing and throw away the keys because I had throw away the advertisements, and I had looked everywhere. I texted messaged my husband and asked him if he had seen them and he hadn’t then I told him I think I might have threw them away.

I came back home, and got in the house. I started searching through my dirty Clothes just in case I lift them in my pants I was wearing and they fall out. Not in there, I looked again in my office and bathroom, and took everything off the coach. No keys great! Now I am starting to stress because to replace the keys will be $40. I decided I would look in my tool box which was on top of my filing cabinet. Guess what I found when I moved my tool box. My keys were between the wall and the tool box. I should just start looking in all the odd places first.

I am 31 so I am still to young to have a senior moment but lately my keys are hard to keep track of.
