Getting the right cat food

Otis has been on Sensitive Purina One food for several years now. Otis if he eats normal food will just give it back the same way it came from. Over the weekend I told my husband to stop and get cat food, and cat litter with a few items I had forgot for Sunday Dinner, and my sink plug. Well, he went to Target which is where I normally buy the cat food, no cat food. Target didn’t have my drain plug for the sink neither. Oh well, so Craig decided to go to Cub Foods.

Craig, was able to find the drain plug but no cat food. Okay no worry at least not yet, because I had about 3 to 4 days of Cat food so i wasn’t getting to upset. Yesterday we went back to Target still no Sensitive System Cat food. Well anyone who is a cat own or a pet owner knows changing the cat food can be a bad idea. Craig started getting upset and worried last night because I only had 2 more days worth of good for Otis. I still was not worried because I figured I could always go to Pet Smart or a the Pet Store over by Cubs Foods if they still didn’t have it by Thursday. I did get one thing from Target I wanted and that was Harry Potter 5, so I guess it was worth the run, but forgot to get a few pairs of winter soaks

Craig was so set on making sure the Cat had food before it ran out, that he wanted to go to Rainbow which is a more high cost store. They had the Cat food but it was a little over a dollar more then Target would have been, Pet Smart might have been more but I don’t know. I have found in the lower cost food Purina One is the best for my cat, some of the other brands he hasn’t responded well to.

Have you tried grain free cat food? It’s better for your cats.

Those are very high in protein and not good for cats with kidney failure. I have my cat on as close as I can get him to grain-free he is doing well on Royal Canine Mature #27
