Just Pass Me By

Don’t honk, don’t cut me off, just pass me by!

Cat needs a bath

Otis, likes water, but will scream in the bathtub bloody murder. So why does this cat want in the bathtub when I am taking a bath or a shower. If he don’t like being cleaned he shouldn’t like being in it with me.

It is winter here in Minnesota and very cold. Normally I do not give Otis baths after September because I feel it is just to cold for bathing him and he takes forever to dry out. I give him a bath once in the spring time and once in the fall time. This helps my allergies not become to bad, and well it keeps him smelling fresh. Otis s long haired so he gets brushed often. Normally before bathing him I will brush him out get as much loose hair as possible off of him, because we all know cat hear in the drain is not fun to deal with. After he is dried I will brush him again and clip his claw, then he will be mad for a bit.

I put a heater into the bathroom so that it does not get to cold. I put that down on the floor while i was drying Otis. Otis was happy to just seat at the hot air blowing out at him, yet he don’t like blow driers. I will ever do that again I tried to blow dry him once and *laughing* it was not pleasant I thought he was going to tear my hand off. I also raised the heat in the apartment so that it would be toasty in here. I do not want him to get cold. He hasn’t even shivered like he does in the summer when i don’t bother with turning on the heat.

I let out Otis after he was some what dry, and he ran into the living room area, and gave me the evil eye then started cleaning himself again. You’d think he had a bath already he don’t need another bath.
