Cellphones and texting
I have a T-Mobile Cellphone I been with them for several years. I like them, have never really had any trouble. A few month ago my best friend started texting me a lot. I was being charged for each text because I didn’t see any point in getting the Texting plan because I find texting to be a pain in the neck.. I would rather talk to the person then text on the cellphone.
My husband will also text me, he is with a different company which I do not like at all… He has a impossible time to get through to a live rep, and their stupid automated system is frustrating I think it would probably find my last nerve very quickly. I am normally a very patient person, but I hate having to fight to get to a live rep. At T-Mobile When I ask for Text Support it actually sends me to a live person. I can ask for Customer Service, and get to a live person with out bring grilled about why I am calling by some automated fake person.
My husband recently got a new cellphone from his cellphone company, we never had issues with duplicated texts on my cellphone before getting the new phone. The first time he texted me we found very quickly my text plan was going to be ate through quickly, because it was sending each of his text at least 6 times each and each time it was taking from my cellphone text usage. I received one of his texts that day a total of 11 times, at first I got mad at my hubby because I was trying to figure out why he was saying the same thing over and over again. He called customer service and was told it because they’re network is not compatible with my company, and told him he would need to power down his phone eventually, after I had called T-Mobile and talked to a friend who works for a cellphone company. My friend told me to have him power down the cellphone to stop the flow of texts before his company even thought of it..
T-Mobile as always was happy to help me out and give me additional texts for free which helps. The frustrating thing is my hubby has to power down his cellphone in order for me not to receive his text message more then once. I do not think I will leave T-Mobile because frankly I like their Costumer service, I don’t always like the cellphone options I have. I don’t like a 2 year contract but it sure bets the need to scream at some stupid automated speaker to get to customer Service.
