The Brat at Brueggers Bagels
Here’s how it went with the brat at Brueggers Bagel, I don’t have to ask you what you want you order the Salmon Bagel. This is really not a good way to get my husband to be friendly to you nor me. I do think I might be a little more patent to a point with rude Customer Service workers. Okay Young man, you may want to listen to a bit of advice, because you will not have your job to much longer if people call management and complain about your rudeness. Not everyone who wants a Salmon sandwich wants Tomatoes or Onion on them, nor do they want it cut into 4 pieces. Twice this brat decided it was okay to be very rude to my husband. I think we should have walked out.
On Friday night, normally my husband and I go out to eat, it is easier now since he working at the church, so I meet my husband. I normally take the bus out to meet him, it just easier to have one car there, so this is what we do. We should have went to our little Kosher deli it would have been less of a headache! We got to Brueggers bagel. I order, and most would think I am being pushy and rude but honestly I am not. Funny thing is he was almost polite to me, I told him First I would like to start with a Asiago bagel toasted please. He asked me if I wanted it toast well or light. I told him medium. Okay no problem here, then I ask him for PLain cream cheese and Salmon because I want the Sandwich and I would like Sprouts, Onions and No tomatoes but I want the tomato paste that went well, so I thought. I found out after sitting down at church my bagel had Jalapenoes on it. Not good but oh well. Now my husband Order is where it just went all to heck.
Maybe this kid does not like men, I don’t know he was so rude to my husband. I will give him sometimes my hubby isn’t the most clearest person and he tends to say what he wants but does think sometimes people just don’t get it. My husband is nice and sweet but he doesn’t deal well with rudeness, neither do I. He cut my husband Bagel in 4 pieces right away, he didn’t even wait for my husband to tell what kind of bagel it was. When my husband asked him what he was doing the brat replied with snideness. Well you wanted a bagel and we precut them. My husband was yes but I wanted the some Salmon on it. The kid says something like Oh well, and puts his bagel together, then starts adding veggies my husband does not like. My husband asked him what are you doing I don’t want those, this brat told him I don’t have to ask you what you want you told me you wanted a salmon bagel.
Well geee dah, of course he wants a salmon bagel but that does not mean he wants everything that comes with it. When my husband told him this he should have treated my husband with respect and not smarted off to him. After we where checking out he was giving us both a attitude. I have worked in customer service so I know it is a hard job. I know how it’s like to be treated poorly and my husband wasn’t being rude or unkind to him. Trust me I would tell my husband in a heart beat if he being rude to someone, I have no problem telling him so.
I told this kid, You know when you have customer ask them how they want it, and it will help you avoid issues like this. I was trying to be nice and give him a piece of advice that has really helped me in customer service. When dealing with customers it is important to make sure that they feel valued. When a customer does not feel valued they may not come back to your store. I am very disappointed in his attitude with my husband, and I will probably call on Monday and complain to management because it was very rude and no customer should be treated like my husband and I was treated. I am sure companies like Branson property have figured out good customer service skills, I hope this young kid learns quickly.
