Just Pass Me By

It seems there are so many law suites lately, lets see we have that air born and the gift card thing going on. I am glad about the air born thing being brought to light it is important, expecially with the claims they have made. A few months ago my husband suggested I try it but I read the ingredients and figure it wasn’t a good idea for me. I believe if my memory serves me right they had a sweetener in it. So we didn’t get it normally I don’t try those, now I will try some home remedies some of them work pretty good. One that my husband and I have found is Cider vinegar and raw honey this works pretty good for congestion due to allergies. I am not saying it a cure but it helps some, it also feels good going down a sore throat because of the postnasal drip.
My husband a couple days ago was talking to me about supplements for weight loss and health. Weight loss supplements worry me the most, because those are the one which can cause heart trouble in some people. So as a loving wife I told my husband don’t do it when he told me he was going to try some supplements. I was worried it was for weight, but then he told me it was for heart health. I told him okay but be careful.
I think sometimes we can get obsessed with how to lose weight and being thin. I think the best way is by diet and exercise, and making sure that not to much weight is being lost.
Now moving on to the Companies and their gift cards, this isn’t going to pass well. People have paid for their products, or their gifts for other people, and frankly the card is not worth a whole lot of money and they should honor them. They should not have sold gift cards if they where in that much financial trouble, they should have only sold their products. I would be angry if I got someone a gift card and it was not honored, not to mention I would be embarrassed. These companies need to honor their sales and those gift certificates is like money. Why should they get to keep money which is not really theirs, there was no product traded so the money on that card is not their it is who ever owns the cards. I honestly will be shocked if the courts lets them get away with this what this is, is cooperate robbery against their customers.

Well, I found out why they updated our plumbing fixtures, but seriously I think they missed the mark here. The first night we had it installed I decided to take a shower. I love showers at night, makes mornings easier sometimes I like morning showers but prefer them at night. I managed to cut my thumb not sure if it was by the shower or by my fingernail. It took me 3 times longer then a normal shower with my old shower head. This is not saving water, or is it.
Lets see the most annoying problem if you don’t think the shower is bad enough, is the toilet although the dishwasher comes in almost as a tie but I think the Toilet is really the worst. How many times should I have to flush the toilet to get read of simple waste. Lets see when it not so simple it at least 2 to 3 times of flushing it, no more living up the toilet seat don’t want Otis playing in it.
What’s the problem running close to the Toilet woe, it’s with the dish washer, how many times do you have to run dishes before they are clean one time right? That what I thought to, guess again, the last 2 loads needed three times each. Um are you sure, this is saving water, because I feel like I am majorly wasting my water here. I can’t be saving water if it takes me longer to take a shower even with less water pressure, I can’t be saving water if I am running the dish washer more then once. Hey wait a minute I got a raw deal here, this is wasting my dishwasher soap to and that cost money. NOT good expecially since I am trying to go back to school soon, can’t be wasting money on things.
Sounds like I am having a blast doesn’t it. It is amazing what people will do to try to save water and conserve but I think we need to remember that wasting less water is still wasting water. I am sure I wasted more water washing dishes, then I did when it took me one running of the dishwasher.

Over the last couple of days I been listen to the news, there been a story on that has really ticked me off. I would like to know why those environmentalists think catching a bunch of houses on fire is going to help our environments. Do they not realize setting fire defeats their purpose, it harms the planet, it harms the animals they are claiming they want to save and help. Well if you truly wanted to save the birds or wolves or foxes or what ever other animal there is you wouldn’t be catching things on fire.
It makes no sense, it was not their property to damaged. So what theres houses there, for people to live in. Have they ever thought of creating habitats on those property, I know a lot of home owners would be welling if they where asked to but if your burning down their property they will stop hearing you, and think your cause is meaningless. How many birds, field mice, and other small creatures where hurt or even kill because they choice to do this act of violence. How many of those animals, who lived in the near by forest or wooded area are now suffering breathing trouble because of the fire. The problem here is we need to think about our actions and what those action will do to the environment. Yes people need to have places to live and yes animals are endangered I am not denying that, but I am saying that the method of trying to fight for this cause is lost and needs to find some serious redirections. I sure hope that some of those who are responsible are found and held responsible. I am glad no one was living in those home yet and hope that if they rebuild they get motion sensor lights on their properties and video cameras on new properties so that criminals can get their due reward. Let me end this by saying I know not all environmentalist are this egg headed.

I have talked about my husband parents a few times. They have decided that my husband and I be their Power of Attorney. I now this is a lot of responsibility and sometimes it not a pleasant thing to be. My husband and I over the summer where named the Medical Power of attorney, this is different then power of attorney. I believe the right term for this is Medical Agent, this means my husband and I make sure mom and dad wishes are met. This is hard because sometimes family can be pretty difficult to deal with, they can be down right rude when their way isn’t met. Mom and Dad know that if their son don’t want to follow through I will follow through, and they also know that I have strength my husband does not have. This is not a bad thing but sometimes my husband needs me to help him, and same here I need him to help me.
My husband isn’t strong with numbers, that okay because I make up for it. I am weak in English, yes this is my first language. Hubby has a master in English, me if I ever complete my Bachelors, I will get my Master in psychology. My main focus will be on women and children, victim of abuse. Between the two of us, I am the one who is very direct, and I don’t take a bunch of grief from people. Normally I put a stop to it or find a way to make peace with everyone. My role in the family is Peacemaker, sometimes I simply do not succeed.
My husband decided I would be the best to handle the financial stuff with mom and dad. I think maybe he feels a little uncomfortable doing this because he their son. I do not feel uncomfortable doing this even though I see them as my parents to. I guess it doesn’t both me because I used to help my mom balance her books, and I have friends who come to me to help them budgeting and planning. I have helped several friends figure out their budgets, and been able to help them find out where they have went wrong. When I go shopping with hubby it drives me nuts for a couple of reason, because I don’t keep a good talli up in my head. He will add things in the cart and not tell me what it cost, this drives me nuts, or add things that I don’t see. When I am by my self I know exactly how much I will spend before checking out, when I am with him I can get somewhere near it.
This weekend we went up to mom and dad’s, I love going there it always so peaceful and they make me feel at home. I worry about dad because he seems to forget things which are important. I think this weekend was one of the most uncomfortable weekends for me, because I had to try to figure out where money was going with out it being noted in their books. This is not a good thing, because it hard to figure out exactly what should mom and dad have in their account. I felt frustrated with dad for not writing in what checks where spent. He will have people fill out his checks and this concerns me. Why am I concerned, because they bounced their account and I can not see to find any good reason for it. I know I was missing the electric bill, and not sure about other things. I guess we have a lot of work ahead of us over the next couple of weeks. I needed to look at their budget, to see if they could offered to make payments on something, I think it best at this time to say no to it, and wait awhile until we know exactly what is going on with their accounts. It looks like it might be time to talk to their banker and maybe they can help me sort out their accounts.

I have a old rickety entertainment center. The last time my husband and I went to IKIA, we started looking at their entertainment centers and stands. Eventually we will be getting a LCD TV on of those nice HDTV, probably will get it from Best Buy. I know we need a new entertainment center because our TV right now does not fit into it. Okay no big deal we will just put it on my end table. I got both the end table and the entertainment center from a friend when she moved into a different place. It was nice at the time I got it because I had a tv that fit well, and to many things for my old entertainment center.
My current entertainment stand is leaning to the left, we have my radio on it, a dvd player, PS3, Xbox360, and a old VCR, those are our electronic things, then I have a some books, papers and nicknack’s. So my next entertainment center will need to be fairly large or I will need to find a TV cabinet for the Xbox, PS3, DVD, and VCR and of course the TV. It might be best to wait to get this until we can get our new tv, which looks like a year or so down the line.
I recently looked at some tv lift cabinets they where beautiful! I got excited about them, but then saw the cost. Okay not bad for the product but a little to much for me to want to spend. They had fine quality TV cabinets, but just to rich for my blood or my husband. I think we will end up sticking with IKIA or target or some other department store.
