Just Pass Me By

Don’t honk, don’t cut me off, just pass me by!

Is your kitchen out of date

Do you need a new kitchen, are you tired of your kitchen because it out of date. Well I have a idea for you, the only thing it not a online store, so sorry no purchasing on line. You know you can go to Home Depot or some other home improvement store and be charged a bunch of money over what the product is really worth. We know that retailer mark up their products sometimes up to 300 percent more then the product is for whole sale. Wouldn’t it be nice to get your kitchen updated at whole sale value.

Well there is a leader out there that is a members only showroom. Well there is a place out there, directbuy. The reason why they can sell items at the direct price is because they have membership charges. This could be a nice way to get a nice little kitchen update. They sell everything from stoves, oven, and dish washers. Wouldn’t hurt to look into them if your thinking about remodeling.

Missing home

Today I am pretty bored, how can I be I posted several times on my blog. It is not warm enough today to go out for a walk. Normally when spring starts coming I want to be able to go outside and walk. I love walking and other outdoor spring, summer and fall activities. I will be glad when hubby and I can go fishing this year, maybe this summer we might be able to go visit my mom in Oregon and sister in Washington. I miss the West coast a lot, I miss the ocean mostly. I think next time I go back that will be one of the first places I go.
I know my mom wants to go camping with us, but with hubby allergies tent camping might not be good, to bad there is not Branson cabins in Oregon as far as I know. We probably will have to wait another year before taking a week to go to Oregon, because I have to pay for college. I guess maybe after my college debt is payed and I get back into school if I can maybe I will put aside money. I miss mom and my sister, but I know going out west will be more expensive then going down to Illinois, or my hubby parents. I don’t mind spending money on vacations, but unlike mom and dad or Grandma, we have to stay at a hotel and sometimes those can get pretty costly. I will have to look at my once website I found a hotel the last time for Oregon and got a good deal. Eventually hubby and I would like to move out west. Winters are a lot more milder then here, yes we get snow but growing up I do not recall any days way below zero like it is here in the Midwest. I do not hate living in Minnesota but I don’t like it one bit in the winter. I seriously have grown to hate winter, grant it Oregon and Washington have their down falls to when it winter. To be honest I rather deal with the passes being closed for part of winter.

Herb and Otis

Otis has friends, out again. I guess he will be out at the patio door a lot now. We have started seeing little birds and rabbits out and about more. Otis will now seat for a while at the patio door watching for them birds and other little animals. I am thinking about growing some herbs this year along with my yearly tomatoes. I know last year one of my small tomato plants got stolen from a little itty bitty squirrel. I know the herbs I would like to grow will attract some of the wild life around the building. I am thinking about growing them inside at a window, but that could be bad for Otis. I think it time to start researching which herbs are safe, because I am not sure if it good for me and hubby that it is good for Otis. I know grass makes cats vomit, so would hate for a herb to do that or worst.
I guess it off to one of the plant franchise in the cities and start picking some brains, or maybe my vet can tell me if there are any I should avoid. I know there are a few flowers which are deadly to cats, and I know Otis loves digging in plant dirt. I might have to find a place that I can grow that Otis won’t be allowed.

Tight places and Otis

Otis where are you, here kitty, kitty. Hide and seek with him is so not cool some days. Sad thing is sometimes Otis is right there on his favorite seat with my teddy bears. Otis gets rather frisky with them bears, sometimes it hard not to laugh at him, some times it you little strange kitty. He has one bear he will stair at me or my husband when he being frisky with it. Kind of like look at me.
I would like to know how Otis get himself into tight places, and then why he thinks I should have to find him and rescue him out of it. In our kitchen we have some draws and not sure how he did it but Otis got stuck behind the draws a few months ago. I have to make sure they are closed so Otis don’t repeat it. Maybe I should be mean and let him there until I take a picture of it, sometimes it looks so funny but I know he don’t like it so my first thought always getting him untrapped. There are a few things I have to make sure they are closed so Otis don’t think about getting in. The sad thing I know if Otis wanted something in those draws he would get into it, he is a crafty cat. I still haven’t figured out how he manages to open the door to my bathroom, hopefully he never does the front door or we will have a problem.
One place Otis likes to get into then cry about it after he gets stuck or locked in. I have a closet in my whole way, it small it one of those linen closet. There are several selves on it, and some how Otis will either get on top or the third one from the top, the problem with this is he can’t get down once the door is closed because their is not enough room between the shelfs and the door. So then we here him doing the same cry as I am stuck help me. I try to keep him out of the closet, because on the floor I keep most of my cleaning chemicals down there. I have a couple of places, kitchen sink for all the kitchen stuff, my bathroom sink for like human stuff and his shampoo, and hubby has stuff under his sink.
On top of my bathroom sink I have my jewelry box, I have to make sure all my neckless get put in my jewelry box. I do not wear jewelry to often, I have 3 neckless I wear. I have a couple pears of earrings and a couple of bracelets. I only wear them when we go out on special things. I have medical jewelry but to be honest it I never wear it. Otis likes playing with my neckless, now thats a load of fun. Have you ever untangled a neckless that a Cats played with, let me tell you it worst then the normal entanglement. The worst thing is when he takes my jewelry or socks into his cat litter. Why do cat bring stuff like that into their cat litter. I also wonder why my cat has to lay in all those odd positions they look painful.
