Just Pass Me By

I have put Otis on Vaseline a few times a months. This weekend I was sharing with my friend about Otis, he is a puker cat according to her. Otis has a sensitive stomach, so I have him on food for that but sometimes he still manages to simply puke up his food. A few weeks ago Otis had a hair ball which caused me to look for a remedy to help him that he wouldn’t be allergic to. Let me tell you owner like cat, both of us are very sensitive to foods and chemicals in food it seems.
I was talking to the woman from the drug store down the road who told me about what her mom used to do. I figured well it pretty clean, and they use it on elderly people to keep them regular. I tried it, the first week I did it I did it 3 times, he had a hairball that first week. Then the second week I did it once, and now I am doing it once a week on Sundays, just a little bit. Otis has not thrown up since, and has only had 1 or 2 hair balls. This is a huge change I wish my vet would have told me about this because I would have tried it along time ago. Grant it I have to watch and make sure he does not lose to much of his fat solidable Vitamins. Doing it once a week should not cause him trouble as long as I don’t give him to much. Vaseline seems to be doing the trick on this Otis.
