Man talk about some pot holes now since the snow is starting to melt and boy some of those potholes are bad. My car needs a bath badly I think once it gets drier outside I will probably take it in for a bath. So far I haven’t had any accident or anything happen to my car with the way people drive. Lets see the city I work in decided until April no parking on the even side of the road. I thought parking would be a lot worst but it actually been pretty good by work. I park in the garage at home, but my car is so dirty.
I am going to have to find a one a day vitamin because I been so tired lately for no reason. Well maybe I am staying up to late. One thing for sure with all the pot holes around it be hard to fall asleep while sleeping. It will be nice once these potholes are fixed because it can’t be good on the car to be hitting everything.

I remember when I started looking at getting a new car, and having to call my agent for a couple of auto insurance quote, even though I went with a different car then I got quoted I figured it wouldn’t be much different and was right.
My Kia Rio Cinco is big enough to carry a good amount of stuff in the back, but also small enough to park it in a smaller space. I don’t normally like green but I really like the color. Today I was very glad I had a small car, I was on the highway heading home, I wasn’t needed at work, and some idiot was in the middle line going about 30 miles an hour, so I decided I would speed up a little and move over, what I didn’t see is someone else had the same idea but was going closer to 90 miles an hour. I was able to get out of the way with out hitting the other person, and with out being hit myself, I hit the breaks and think goodness the car does what I command it and it wasn’t icy out side. After Mr or Ms I am driving way to fast past me up, I switch over and then the mr I am going to drive so slowly that I drive a sane person insane, was still going as slowly as they possibly could, it is fairly frustrating.

I will tell you what, I like my new kia it’s been cold the last few days, and boy that car warms up quickly and throws out hot air like you wouldn’t believe. Kia seems to be growing in popularity or maybe it’s because I have one now it seems like I see more Kias. At least I will not have to replace anything in the car except for oil anytime soon not even a water filters. Most of the stuff was worked on already by the mechanic who I bought it from. I am getting on average 27 miles per gallon, now this is simply amazing because 3 night this week I got trapped in very ugly traffic and didn’t run out of gas or go under 27 mile per gallon on gas. My biggest complaint is that the tank isn’t very big so the max city driving I gotten is 230, hwy will probably be max of 350 because it depends on traffic how well the car does on gas.
I have a CD player so I was able to play a sound track today that I got with my new Persona game, I like the sound track so having it in the car was nice.
Lets see the biggest problem is my yellow thing expired and I still don’t have tabs I guess if I don’t get them by tomorrow I will call the dealer again and tell him he needs to give me another yellow thingy for the window, or pay for parking tickets if I get any. I probably wouldn’t do that but it would be funny if I did. I am hoping the dealer ship is right that I won’t get ticketed because police know sometimes dealers take a while. We’ll see, probably worried about nothing. I do have to say I like a car which heats up within 4 city blocks or 5 to 10 minutes. It’s great having a heater. I still would recommend kia to friends and family. Yep I am know a Kia fan.

This morning I was driving to work. It was a little rainy out and I was running on time. So I wasn’t rushing but boy I wish I would have picked a different route. I got off the highway where I normally do for am shifts. I had no trouble on any roads and the garage door actually open on the first try. Normally in the garage I am tempted to drive right throw it after about the 5th time of driving over the tubby thing which tells it to open. I think people in MN haven’t learned polite road manners, which means winter driving will be a nightmare, seems people are getting ruder and ruder. Normally I try not to lay on the horn but this morning I felt I needed to. I drive a van and well there’s not much room for me to go right or left before I eat up the space. I think maybe during the winter instead of staying home, I should do a orlando vacations.
This morning I made my left turn on the road which will eventually get me close to work, and was behind a guy going 20 miles an hour. I decided to pass him it was on a 4 lane street. Well when I went to pass the person they started speeding up and coming into my lane. I honked tried to warn him he was getting a little to close, they honked back and kept trying to get close to me. I was actually worried the guy was going to run me onto the median and into the tree coming up. I finally hit the gas and speed up I figured if he was dumb enough to keep at it I would call for help. Being a woman, that feeling threatened by someone with a big truck would get me help pretty quickly.

I got my van back today. Ugh maybe it will be good for at least a week. A couple weeks ago I had my van in for the alternator, this week it was for a thingy on the axial which connects to the shocks. I know i have to get my out tie rods fixed and bowl joint or something.
Since I have started my new job, I think my van is giving me the run for my money and then some.
Today when I was at my mechanics he told me the tie rods are at a point that if I wait 2 months, I could put myself in danger. Okay tie rods going out can be deadly so I will not play with that to long. In March I have a whole week off of work, and will be in Illinois for 3 or 4 days and then will have off two days. I sometimes help him in replacement for labor. The tie rods will cost me 200 with out me working for his office. Good thing I have office experience, because I am able to help him efficiently.
My new job is going great, so far but in the back of my mind I am worried I might not have a job come March or April, just because that how long the temp companies have lasted. Now I work with children with Autism, I love my job. I get to play a lot with them, I think my favorite thing is Gym I like playing in the Ball pit and being a giant monster. Not sure why one of the kids calls me Gaint but it’s funny. I am the same height as the other girls when I am not standing 100 percent straight and there one other girl who is taller then I.

Strange is the word of the day. Yesterday morning I bumped into my garage neighbor car, but she not my neighbor on my floor. I didn’t have paper on me and had a lot of things to do, so instead of running back down and leaving a note on the car. I called management to see if they could tell me, who owned the car, this way I could just run over to them quickly and tell them I bumped their car.
I didn’t see any damage but it not exactly light in the garage, so I figured the right thing was to let them know just in case I didn’t see a scratch on the car. After dinner I figured no one called or knocked on the door, so I figured either they where on vacation or maybe nothing was wrong with their car which was the best the ideas.
Around 11 something I heard someone messing at the door and then a knock on the door. It was our caretaker, with a card telling me I won for decorating my balcony. Well, I don’t celebrate Christmas and this year my Chanukaih isn’t out by the patio window because I just haven’t moved anything in front of it because dad goes in and out and I don’t want him tripping over something. We where both a little confused as to what did I win, and how I won. So the caretaker told me open it, because she was interested in knowing what it was about.
I got a thank you note for being honest and saying something when most people would just leave and say nothing. The person who wrote the note said this might be strange or something a long that line. Yes I will give her that, because normally when mishaps happen people don’t reward honesty. Most of the time you get people claiming their is far more damage then what there really is, like what happened to my husband a few years ago. They tried to hit him for a good amount of money on a tiny scratch. Which could have simply been fixed with one of those paint bottles. In the back of our minds we was worried about that, and I was worried about a huge increase in car insurance. I never do stupid things, I guess yesterday wasn’t stupid. The van died and I put it in neutral to restart it, and it rolled I moved the wheel just the right way and it did the roll where it shouldn’t have.
So I guess people are still honest. I have to say, I am surprised I got a gift certificate just because I was honest. I just wanted to do the right thing, honesty is a treasure that is hard to find. The reward even with out that is not having to worry about car insurance increasing, and not worrying about coming up with money for repairs.
Plus the real reward is her being honest that there was no damage. I guess a simple “thank you” would have made me just as happy.
Not saying I am not happy about the gift certificate because I am it actually helps us get some things which we don’t have the money for, so it’s a blessing.
I can’t wait till I start my new job, I had orientation on Monday and it went okay. My next trying is the 6th, to bad it can’t be sooner I am excited about starting the new job.

You know those people who walk around with those blowers, they work great on leaves and fallen small branches. Otis why at his clawing post perch thing, they came walking by the building he got into a small little coarch type of stance and started walking toward me, with his ears back.
He wanted nothing to do with that loud noise but hey I can’t blame him niether because I don’t like it niether. Now I will have to go out and clean off my balcony.
Otis went and hid behind my coach after a couple minutes he did something I have not seen him do when he gets scared. I have my sewing machine between the coach and the wall in the living room, Otis went to the sewing machine and put his 2 front paws up and look from his little hidding place he made for him self and watched what they were doing.
Grant it when Otis is scared or alarmed I will tell him it’s okay, it can’t get you. Otis I wouldn’t call him a shy cat but I wouldn’t call him out going, I will say he improved a lot since I first got him. It used to be when something scared him he would hide in somewhere for the entire day. So this is a improvement for Otis considering he is back in here, sneefing my toes.

On Friday, I had to go to my mechanic house and do some work for him. Not a problem at all, I first dropped my husband off at his job. His car is still broke down, so I figured it be nice to take him to work and then go on my way. Well I was going up to work and there’s this one intersection is horrible between my husband work and my mechanic house.
I got to that intersection. Normally I am used to setting through at least a half of light. On Friday, I sat through several lights, because some RV’s decided they had to stop right in the middle of the intersection which means no one would go anywhere I either side of the street. By the 3rd light of setting through and waiting when I was the first car at the intersection I was starting to become annoyed. We all know my husband mom has cancer so I am probably one step away from road rage. I tried to think about my home office, and some things I need in it. I was wishing I had a copier so I could make a few copies of things I needed for school.
Well, finally I got tired of thinking of my office and started feeling annoyed that I had to sit at the light. So I pretty much said so loud, Come on Get out of the Intersection, so others can get through. The guy parked next to me, said, they all want to do the short cut it. We talked for a few minutes, well maybe one of them heard mine and his little conversation because that was the last green light we had to sit through. it took me close to a half hour from my husband work to my mechanics which is normally a 5 to 10 minute ride. Just lovely, I wish people would learn if they are in a RV they aught to wait on the other side of the road and not block the intersection of a major street. If it’s not illegal to park in a busy intersection then it should be unless the car is broke down. I am reasonable something a drive can’t help but when your in control of your vehicle then there’s probably no need for you to be in the middle of the intersection.

Normally I try not to write about political things, but you know it finally came to were I feel a need to. First let me say I think these gas companies should all be thrown in jail because was they are doing to us is robbing us blind. Now we all know last year that the CEO of these companies made in the million and billions on money back to them. Okay why do they need so much money, that they are making it so darn expensive.
They decide to cut down production so that they can charge me, which is wrong, they should increase production to match what is needed. I seriously think our Government here needs to start using our Oil supply in the states. Sorry environmentalists but we have to do something, then let these foreign gas company make us all poor and collapse our economy. I am not one for conspiracy theories but I am starting to think that is exactly what they are doing.Today in Minnesota we reach 3.85 for low grade gas. This is pretty sad.
Yes I understand that drilling in some of the tender areas for oil may harm the wild life if there is a leak, but if it is done correctly the wildlife will be okay and most will adapt to their changed environment. Now I am not saying the oil companies should have a right to destroy their habitat they need to find away not to destroy that and let them live peacefully together with each other. I think we just need to come up with something better, and since cars which run on no gas hasn’t been made yet or if they have they are so out of reach of regular people. Maybe the environmentalist and oil drillers can find some means to make each other happy. Maybe they can figure out how to do this with out taking a bunch of living space up for the animals or make it safe for the animals to be in the area.
There are many dealer commercials for spoilers, to bad none are of free gas for the life of the car, but sure that would become more money then the car is worth. Now with them saying that gas might get to 6$ a gallon this is very concerning, because most people like myself and husband we can barely offered gas as it is. Maybe we will have get bike of some kind, but that only works in the spring summer and part of fall. Winter would be a wash of wintry messes.
I seriously think these gas companies should start cutting into their profit and help the people they don’t need that much money it does them no good but prove they are mostly just greedy.

Today I finally decided it was time for me to fill up my van. Not a fun thing but I didn’t spend as much money as I thought I would need to or my husband. I put 23.00 in and my husband put a other 23.00 so that was just 46.00 bucks normally my gas will last me 2 weeks if I only drive it to where I work, still a lot more then what I want to put in my tank.
I have been put on a assignment where I have worked before, I lift Friday early thinking I would fill up the tank on my way home but then after I started toward home I saw the gas price at the nearest gas station and decided not to run to the one hubby and I sometimes use because I didn’t want to run late.
I take the bus to meet him before services on Friday night and we go out and have dinner together.
Today we where talking about my van troubles, and how my muffler after my 3rd paycheck will need to be fixed first. It got some issues that is getting worst and making driving the van sometimes challenging the new thing is for some reason it just simply loud. I have to get work done on the front end. To bad the can can’t be like dell memory simple to put into the right place. Nice thing about memory chips in computers if you now what your doing it a pretty simple thing to do. I wish I had a garage and all the right tools to fix the muffler but hey I am not a wielder or anything close to that so I will have to have one of my mechanic friends do it for me. I can do a regular tune up on the van but even that would be a chore.
I don’t even want to begin to think about how much fixing the cat back is going to cost me, I already know that the tie rods and right hub center need to be replace and that is looking at close to 300 or maybe 400 depending on how many problems there are for the mechanic to do.
